Stop for a moment and think about your earliest experiences with horses. What drew you to them? What made you desire to want to work with them and own them? Was it their beauty and grace? Whether you have a nervous, spooky horse that needs to learn to trust you or a pushy, dominant horse that needs to learn respect and boundaries or anything in between, liberty work is for you. 

When you speak to the horse in a language that he understands he will willingly do anything you ask of him. Behavioral problems such as spooking, kicking, biting, bucking, and rearing will disappear because you will have learn how to effectively communicate with your horse. 

When your horse is at liberty he has the choice to leave if he wants, but you’ll soon discover that by building trust and respect you will have a horse that truly desires to be with you, to come to you, to circle around you, to dance with you where both you and your horse are able to freely express yourselves. You too can have a relationship reminiscent of the movie Avatar, in which you need only think what you want, and your horse will respond with gladness.
